Ross Flora
Ross Flora continues to make  his mark throughout the Mid-Atlantic
area as a songwriter, producer , guitarist and singer.    At twenty one
years old, Ross is a seasoned studio artist and live performer who
presents an eclectic acoustic solo act, performing music from Dave
Matthews,  Justin Timberlake, John Mayer, Frank Sinatra, Jason Aldean,
Brantley Gilbert and Eric Church to his own original compositions.  
Ross showcases all styles in his artistry - from the funk and hip hop
styles that originate from his rhythm and blues background - to country
bluegrass style that originates from growing up in the heart of
Virginia's Blue Ridge on a farm in Franklin County.   The result is an
ultra contemporary country blending with bluegrass and R&B that is
both modern and uniquely Americana.  Or, perhaps, uniquely Ross Flora.
Ross's homage to old school players make him unique among his peers.  
His young age belies his musical fluidity of the guitar, keyboards, bass,
drums, and vocal harmony.   In addition to his acoustic solo work, Ross
also performs with Roanoke VA's masters of funk, THE KINGS, as well as
with COWBOY - A Tribute to Kid Rock.
Most of all, Ross's spiritual maturity adds a depth to his music:  he
openly credits God for the gift of sound, for that unknown mystery in
God's creation of us that allows harmony and chord structure to be
pleasing to our ears ---- and our souls.  For a forgiving God who often
loves us in spite of ourselves, and for a God who allows us to express that
love to each other ...  through music.
